ADAMS, Emily Lucas, passed away suddenly on January 31, 2011 at age 95.
She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Royal John Adams Jr. A son, Royal J. Adams III, also preceded her in death, leaving behind his wife, Phyllis Adams.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Adams and partner, Robert Jackson; her daughter, Linda Buttner and husband, Garry Buttner; grandchildren, Charleen Huguet and husband, David Huguet, Anna Marie Adams and Stephanie Buttner; and two great-grandchildren, Melisse Huguet and David Huguet III.
There will be a private graveside service on Saturday, February 5, at Raleigh Memorial Park in Raleigh, N.C. Contributions may be made to your local American Heart Association or to your local SPCA.
