CANDLER – Tammy Elaine Plemmons McKinney, 43, of Candler, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 15, 2012.

A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Tammy attended Trinity Baptist Church. She was a loving daughter and mother and will be greatly missed.

Tammy was the daughter of Barbara Lee Redmon and the late Charles Richard Plemmons. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents: Richard and Connie Plemmons and Lloyd and Gladys Redmon.

Surviving are her husband, Billy McKinney; sons: Casey Pressley and Colby McKinney; step-son, Brennan McKinney; sisters: Teresa Case and husband Shawn Case, Tammy McEntyre, and Annette Owenby; brother, Gary Garland; nephew, Chad Case; nieces: Madison Case and Emma Case; three aunts and four uncles.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Friday at the funeral home.
