Passed away peacefully after 87 years on May 9, 2012 following emergency brain surgery with resulting recovery complications.
Born in Sacramento in 1925, Frank lived in San Francisco and Sacramento before moving to Orange County. A resident of Cypress since 1969, Frank was a heating, ventilation and air conditioning Facilities Engineer at McDonnell Douglas in Huntington Beach before retiring in 1990.
Frank was loved by all and was a gracious and social person who enjoyed golfing, bowling and taking friends, family and co-workers out to experience Chinese dim sum lunches and delicious multi-course dinners.

Predeceased by his wife Josephine in 1987, he is survived by four children Ron (Flora), Harvey (Nancy), Roger and Gail Louie, and grandchildren Jennifer, Richard, Ariel and Danielle Louie, and step-grandchild Aimee Aguillon. Also survived by and loving brother to Mae Wong (late Joe Bing), as well as half-sisters Helen (Jim) Lee, Rose Lee, Margaret (Michael) Nicholson and half-brother Howard (Diane) Louie along with numerous nephews, nieces and dear friends. Frank was also predeceased by elder sister Dorothy (late Wallace) Lee.

Honorably served in the Navy as Electricians Mate First Class aboard the NTS Farragut, USS Yarnall, USS Tabberer and USS Otterstetter in the Asiatic Pacific and American Area Victory in the Philippines.

Visitation on Friday, May 18th from 5:00 to 8:00pm. Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, May 19th. Chapel opens at 4:15pm with service starting at 5:00pm. Both held in Main Chapel at Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd, Westminster 92683. Final interment will be at Forest Lawn in Cypress. In lieu of flowers, donations may to made to Veterans of Foreign Wars, www.VFW.org.
