Mr. Massey was a retired supervisor for Feast Construction Co. He was a member of Carpenters Local 357 and was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church. Mr. Massey was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 127 F&AM and Scottish Rites. He was a Kentucky Colonel.
Surviving are his wife, Patsy Stokes Massey; two daughters, Esther Cope of Paducah and Susan Brinker of Brookport, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Jeni Leasor of Jensen Beach, Fla.; three brothers, Louie Massey of Benton, Cliff Massey of Paducah and Ray Massey of West Paducah; three sisters, Louise Neuhausel and Ruby Prince, both of Paducah and Evelyn Trichel of Baton Rouge, La.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers. His parents were Noah and Opal Clemens Massey.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with the Rev. Jack Russell officiating.
Burial will be in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. today at the funeral, where Masonic rites will be at 7.
