Howard Simpson Hardeman, 50, died at 9:05 a.m. Thursday at his residence in the High Point Community.
Born in Alabama, Mr. Hardeman was a boilermaker and member of Boilermakers Local No. 27, St. Louis, Mo. He was also a member of Bethel Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Ruth Hardeman; his father Parks J. Hardeman of Ft. Payne, Ala.; two sons, Howard O. Hardeman and Vernon Hardeman, both of Paducah; a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Massey, Paducah; four brothers, Carthell Hardeman of Clinton, Ga., Yewell Hardeman, Millard Hardeman, and Woodrow Hardeman, all of Lakeworth, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs Vera Jackson and Mrs. Joy Murdock, both of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and five grandchildren, Connie, Deanna and Deneen Massey all of Paducah, Lisa Hardeman of Paducah, Matt Hardeman of Paducah.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Blain Wilson at Bethel Pentecostal Church Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Bill, Louie & John Massey, Bill Story, Bob Wellerford, and Henry Alvey.
Burial will be in Maplelawn Cemetery.
