Kenneth Lee Mitchell, 2 1/2 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman W. Mitchell of Kevil Rt. 2, was pronounced dead on arrival at Lourdes Hospital at 1:50 p.m. Sunday.
The baby died of leukemia. He formerly had been a patient at St. Jude Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., but had been returned to his home.
Besides his parents, survivors include two brothers, Ricky Wayne and Billy Joe Mitchell of Kevil Rt. 2; the grandparents, Capt. and Mrs. Homsie Mitchell of Paducah and Mr. and Mrs. George Brinkley of Port Smith, Va. and the and the great-grandparents, Mrs. Hester Lindsey of Dover, Tenn., and Mrs. Sidney Jones, Port Smith, Va.
Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery in McCracken County. The Rev. Harold Council will officiate.
