Noah Massey was in his day, the main farmer in Highpoint Ky, he was the first to own a gasoline powered tractor, in which he ran 24 hours a day, well he actually hired others to run it, but it ran 24 hours a day, he also ran Massey's Garage in Highpoint, Noah also created the best remedy of mange medicines for dogs in the county. He was married to Opal Ruby Clemens Massey and had 9 children;

Noah O. Massey, 77, West Paducah Rt.2, died Sunday Sept. 10, 1972 at 9:45 p.m. at Western Baptist Hospital.
A native of Caldwell County, Mr. Massey came to McCracken Co. in 1902. He was a retired farmer, veteran of World War I, member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Highpoint Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Ruby Opal Clemens Massey; six sons, John M., Noah C., Willis (Bill) V., James Cliff and Oscar Ray (Butch) Massey, all of Paducah and Louie C. Massey of Benton; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Neuhausel and Mrs. Ruby Prince of Paducah, and Mrs. Evelyn Trichel of Baton Rouge, La.; Three brothers, the Rev. T.A. Massey, J.C. Massey and B.G. Massey all of Paducah; a sister, Mrs. Dury Gordon of Akron, Ohio; 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 13, 1972 at Lindsey Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bill Wagner officiating.
Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Denzel Alvey, Thomas Massey, Ray McElroy, Roy Hankins Jr., J.D. Hankins, Bill McElya, Bennie Joe Crenshaw and J.B. Crenshaw
Friends may call at the Funeral Home.
