Ruth June Abbott, 71, of Zion died on Wednesday, December 5, 2001 at Good Shepherd Hospital, Barrington, Illinois.
Ruth was born June 20, 1930 in Antigo, Wisconsin and had lived in the Zion and Round Lake areas most of her life.
Survivors include her children; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; two sisters Faye and Shirley; and two brothers Orville and Paul.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orrin Abbot, by one daughter Karen Gruber, one granddaughter Julie Abbott , brothers Lawrence Gibson, Bob Gibson, Wayne Gibson and Wilbur Gibson and sisters May Watts and Virginia Fitch.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2001 at 10 AM at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion with Rev. Gay Brown officiating.
Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Visitation will be Friday from 5 until 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
