She graduated from Monticello High School and was a lifelong member of Apple's Chapel Christian Church, a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. She was a homemaker, loved working in her yard, growing African Violets, cooking her famous chocolate pies.
Geneva is survived by her husband of 65 years, Kestle Clapp; son Gary Clapp(Mary); daughter Angie Walker (Ken). She was the best Nanny to her 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Hardy, Leo Wood, Audrey Barham, and Becky Barber.
She was preceded in death by sisters Lorine Grogan and Jo Ann Kernodle.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Apple's Chapel Christian Church by Rev. C. Allen Myers III. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
