Mrs. Betty Jean Cheek Creasey, 79, of Calhoun and originally of Dalton passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Gordon Hospital.
She worked as the human resources manager at Brown Printing for more than 30 years. After retiring from Brown Printing, she went to work at Profitt's for more than five years as a special events coordinator. She also loved to travel and adventure and visited many places around the world. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Ralph Cheek and Mary Alice Green.
Survivors include her sister, Patrick Cheek-Law of Stone Mountain, and nephews, Michael P. Law of Marietta and Donald R. Law of Grayson.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 25 at 3 p.m. from Rock Bridge Community Church in Dalton, with Dr. James Beaty officiating. The family will receive friends at Rock Bridge Community Church following the service.
