Marvin Duane Davis

Marvin Duane Davis, 74, of Ashland, Ore., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008, at Linda Vista, in Ashland, Ore. Memorial service to be announced at a later date.

Marvin was born March 19, 1934, in Woodward, Okla., to Mr. and Mrs. Emery Davis. On July 5, 1955, he married his wife Helen in Modesto, Calif. He was a member of the U.S. Air Force and was employed by the U.S. Forest Service/ S.O.S.C.

In his free time he enjoyed model airplanes, metal detecting, hunting for gold, and collecting everything.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Helen; children, Mike (Talin) Davis, Brenda (Alan) Walter, Mindy Kim Tamara (Will) Stoddard; mother, Dorothy Davis; brothers, Don (Maxine) Davis, Lloyd Davis (Maureen), Ron Davis (Brenda); numerous cousins; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Emery Davis; and his grandparents.
