A funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, November 15, 1998 at 2 p.m. at the Alward Carter Funeral Home in St. Louis. Mr. Keith Wise of St. Louis will officiate and burial will be in the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Breckenridge. Memorials may be donated to the St. Louis Church of Christ.
Mrs. Davis was born January 15, 1993 in Gratiot County. Her first husband was Merle Hock and her second husband was Manley Davis. She was employed as a school teacher until her retirement. She was a member of the St. Louis Church of Christ. She enjoyed writing humorous poetry.
She is survived by her sister, Anna Ruth Packer of St. Louis; her nieces, Bellezora Allen of Michigan, Donna Leonard of Texas, Frances Barnett of Oklahoma, Mildred Leach of Arizona, Lucille Behler of St. Louis, Marjory Hoyt of St. Louis, Betty Wood of Florida, Joyce Fisher of Breckenridge, Sharon Travis of Fremont, and Carolyn Modlin of Spring Arbor.
She was preceded in death by both husbands, Merle Hock and Manley Davis; four brothers, Melvin, LeRoy, Orlin, and Harold Packer; and one sister, Grace Fleming Robinson.
