This year, MCHA (Marshall County Heart Association) members have
dedicated the annual Heart Walk to the memory of Clarice L Reid, a prominent
member of the community. She served as a charter member of the Cameron
Community Health Care Clinic and on the Board of Directors of the Miracle
Valley City/County Library. She was a member of Marshall County's CEOS for 20
years, and the Marshall County 4H Club for 30 years. A member of Big Run
Christian Church/Disciples of Christ, She served as a Sunday school teacher for
45 years and Youth Director for 20 years. She was a past Matron for the Order
of the Eastern Star, Chapter 9, Cameron.
The 2001 Heart Walk of the Marshall County Heart Association will be
dedicated to the memory of Clarice Lucille Reid, who died at age 76 of heart
disease on April 7, 2000.
Reid was born Aug 25, 1923, the daughter of Lawrence H and Mabel Yeater Quigley.
