She was a homemaker and a member of the Jackson County Emergency Squad for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel and Mildred (Forrest) Huey.
Mrs. Langston is survived by her husband, Jerry Ray Langston of Newport, one son, Mike Langston and wife, Christine, of Searcy; four sisters, Gloria Moss and husband Gene of Diaz, Shirley Swink and husband Bob of Newport, Gail Bellinger and husband, Rusty, of Newport, and Betty Copeland and husband Larry, of Lawton, Okla.; five grandchildren, Jessica, Kayla, and Michael Langston, Stephanie and Catherine Gilchrist.
Funeral services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004 at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with J.L. May officiating. Interment followed at Carter Cemetery in Pennington.
