M. Frances Adams, age 92, of Marshall, Missouri died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Blue Hills Rest Home in Independence, Missouri.
Memorial graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2012, at Keytesville City Cemetery in Keytesville, MIssouri with William W. Harlow officiating.
Frances was born December 25, 1919, in Keytesville, Missouri, the daughter of the late Grover Shoemaker and Sarah Elizabeth Carter Shoemaker. On October 16, 1937 she married Paul Eugene Adams who preceded her in death on July 3, 1992.
Frances had lived in Marshall, Missouri since 1993, previously living in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas and Salisbury, Missouri. She was a longtime Avon representative and Tupperware manager, retiring in 1980 after twenty-five years.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Frances Wagner (Charles) of Panola, Texas and Vicki Belzer (Phillip) of Independence, Missouri; four sons: Walter Paul Adams {Shirley) of Marshall, Missouri, Kenneth Adams of Marshall, Missouri, Ronald Adams (Cathi) of Phoenix, Arizona and William Adams of Glasgow, Missouri; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Shoemaker of Excelsior Springs, Missouri and Ray Shoemaker of Salisbury, Missouri; two sisters, Lorene Stephens of Salisbury, Missouri and Willie Iona of Iowa; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband of fifty-five years, Paul , she was preceded in death by several siblings.
