Sherrell Gentry
Parrottsville, Tenn. - Sherrell Gentry, 45, formerly of Hot Springs, N.C., passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2003.
A native of Madison County, Mr. Gentry was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, George Washington Gentry; sister, Elsie Geneva Snelson; and brother, Gene Gentry.
He is survived by his wife, Frankie Pierce Gentry; mother, Ethel Plemmons Gentry of Hot Springs, N.C.; daughter, Christy Calhoun of Hot Springs, N.C.; stepdaughter, Viki Waddell of Newport; sisters, Juanita Norton of Weaverville, N.C., Kathy Frisby of Spring Creek, N.C., and Sue Gentry of Hot Springs, N.C.; brothers, Kenneth Gentry of Kingston, Harold Gentry of Hot Springs, N.C., Curtis Gentry of Leicester, N.C., and Phil Gentry and Colin Gentry, both of Hot Springs, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Liberty Baptist Church. The Rev. Greg Warren will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Madison Funeral Home in Marshall, N.C.
