GRAFTON - John P. Audet, 86, formerly of North Grafton, died in Northbridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Northbridge, after a long illness. His wife, Lena B. (Legassey) Audet died in 1981.

He was born in Quebec, son of Wilfred and Marie (Lacroix) Audet, and moved to the United States in 1930. Retired from the former Quaker Fabric Corp. in 1978. Previously worked for the former Wuskanut Mills, Inc. in South Grafton until it closed.

Member of St. James Church in So. Grafton and the Grafton Senior Citizens. Funeral Mass in St. James Church, So. Grafton, with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
