MICHAEL E. "MIKE" RAHRIG, 81, died on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Hospice Home. Born Jan. 24, 1931, in Landeck, Ohio, he was the son of the late Louis and Olivia Rahrig. He worked as an auto mechanic and was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Mildred Rahrig of Fort Wayne; children, Diane (Steve) Michaels and Nancy Siegel, both Fort Wayne, Patty (Dave) Sexton of Indianapolis, Kris McDermott of Carmel, Tony (Tish) Rahrig, Tim, Jeff (Erin), Jerry (Sarah) Rahrig, all of Fort Wayne; sisters, Rosemary Mc Pheron, Norene (Dick) Ricker; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Angela Ricker and Sister Mary Eleanor; and granddaughter, Katie Mc Dermott. Service is 11 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Road, with calling one hour prior to service. Calling also from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2012, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
