YORKTOWN---L. Pearl Morgan Kirkham, 88, died Sunday in Yorktown Health Care Center after a long illness.
Mrs. Kirkham was born in Elizabeth and moved to Muncie in 1931. She was a member of United Methodist Women's Organization, Home Economics Club of Monroe Township and Corinth United Methodist Church where she had taught Sunday school. She retired in 1968 from Cowan Schools where she had been a cook.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Oren Kirkham; two daughters, Linda Fowler (husband Carl) and Lois Jean Young (husband John); a brother, Kenneth Morgan; a sister, Bonnie Morgan; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Corinth United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Tomlinson Cemetary.
Calling will be 3-7 p.m. Tuesday at Parson's Mortuary and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Corinth United Methodist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Corinth United Methodist Church Scholarship fund.
