Sister M. Alfred Becker, 83, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday June 8, at Nazareth Heights, Fond du Lac, where she made her home.
Funeral Mass was 2 p.m. Monday at Nazareth Heights Chapel.
Sister Alfred was born Nov. 9, 1896, at Two Rivers, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Becker. She entered St. Agnes Convent, Fond du Lac, Oct. 31, 1912, and received her bachelor degree from Fordham University, N.Y. Sister Alfred taught in catholic (sic...Catholic) high schools in New York, Hayes, Kans., and schools in Wisconsin including St. Mark School, Two Rivers.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Adeline Tragesser of Milwaukee and Mrs. Albert (Salome) Streu of Two rivers and nieces and nephews. Four brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
