Quincy was a great man, with a heart of gold. He was farmer , and he loved to hunt his bird dog's, I went with him several times. He was a fisherman also, anything to do with the country outdoors , that was Quincy.

He was the Best Papa , that's what his only granddaughter would say. Quincey, lost his only daughter at birth, so when my daughter was born, he always said now she is mine, only daughter that I have. He did spoil her rotten, but he very seldom, would raise his voice at her, they were two pea's in a pod , you could say. He laughed about everything he lived life one day at a time.

He would help so many farmers when they needed help, you wouldnt believe how much he taught me, first time I learned to drive a tractor, Quincy was my teacher, first time I got to milk cows's , several of them , might I add, Quincy taught me.

I have got to say, he is truly one of the best Papa's , that I had ever met. He always knew that I did love him with all my heart, and yes he is missed so much by his loved ones.

"If Roses Grew In Heaven"

If roses grew in Heaven Lord please pick a bunch for me...
Place them in my Papaws arms and tell him there from me.
Tell him I Love him and Miss him everyday and when he turns to smile
place a kiss upon his cheek and hold him for awhile...
Because remembering him is easy...
I Do It Every day...
But there is an ache within my heart that will NEVER go away...
************************************************
I heard someone whisper your name...When I turned around to see who it was...I found myself alone...Then I knew, it was my HEART missing you...I miss YOU...I miss YOUR smile and I still shed a tear every once in a while.Even though it's different now...YOUR still here somehow ...My HEART won't let you go and I need you to know that I MISS YOU and I LOVE YOU...

************************************************

An Angel kissed my tears away today when I was sad...I wasn't feeling quite myself my day had been so bad...I felt a warmth brush by me that quickly dried my tears...A gentle, kind and loving touch that seemed to hold near... Immediately ,I felt so much better and the day seemed brighter too...I guess that's just the way you feel when an Angel comforts you...

************************************************
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you, and whispered "Come to me". With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best...

**************************************************
I know you sleep in heaven, and up there dream of me.
Waiting there for those you love, until together once again we will be. I know you aren't lonely, in company of all the angels above. Watching over and protecting all the ones you left behind and love...
***************************************************
The Day You Went Home

A million times I've needed you...A million times I've cried, If love alone could of saved you, you never would have died. In life I loved you dearly, In death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place, No one else could ever fill. It broke my heart when I lost you, that day you didn't go alone... Part of me went with you that day God took you home.

***************************************************

Until we meet again Papaw...Those special memories of you will always bring a smile...If only I could have you back for just a little awhile...Then we could sit and talk and joke again just like we would always do...You always meant so very much to me and always will too...The fact your no longer here Papaw will always cause me pain but your forever in my heart...Until we see each other again...Until we meet again Papaw...
