Allen Leo "Daddy" Baird, 70, of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 25, 2012, after a long illness.
He was born July 16, 1941, in Texarkana, Texas.
He was a retired building contractor and a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, receiving several medals and awards. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Baird; a daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Jeff Sells; two grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph Baird and Jerrald Baird; a sister, Mary Carroll; and a special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Shirley and Marty Martin; and a number of other relatives.
Burial: Rondo Memorial Park with full military rites.
