Actor. Born Louis O'Brien, he was a Broadway performer when he made his screen debut in "The Lieutenant Governor" (1915). A veteran of the silent film era, his many credits included "Poppy" (1917), "The Safety Curtain" (1918), "The Figurehead" (1920), "Secrets" (1924), "Dangerous Innocence" (1925), "Flames" (1926) and "Faithless Lover" (1928). For his work in movies, he has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
