On March 23, 2012, Lois Fox joyfully entered the gates of Heaven. She is now free of pain, healed and at peace in the arms of her LORD. Lois was born on October 24, 1934 and was raised in Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ruth Abel, her brother, Carl Odell Abel, Jr., and her husband, Blueford Douglas Fox. She is survived by her children, Peggy and Robert Damesworth, Terri and Fred Holmes, and Robert and Melissa Fox; her grandchildren, Bubba and Jodi Damesworth, Bo and Brandy Damesworth, Travis Damesworth, Eric, Chris, Patrick and Clint Holmes, and Brady Fox; her great-grandchildren, Calli, Caden, RW, and Adam Damesworth. Lois was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leonard. She was also active in Eastern Star and a member of the Sons of Hermann Lodge. Lois delighted in her family, her dogs and gardening. She will always be remembered for her loving, kind and selfless spirit. Visitation on March 26, 2012 from 6-8pm at Restland Funeral Home, Dallas, TX. Graveside service will be held on March 27, 2012 at 3:30pm at Grove Hill Memorial Park 4118 Samuell Blvd. Lois was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
