Juliana Vander Ley
Juliana Vander Ley, 91, Artesia, Calif., formerly of New Holland, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, at Artesia Christian Home.

Funeral services will be at a.m. Friday at New Holland Christian Reformed Church. Burial will be in New Holland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mount Funeral Home, Platte, with a 7 p.m. prayer service.

She was born on Oct. 31, 1918, to Onne and Julia Feenstra.

On Jan. 12, 1940, she married Art Vander Ley at New Holland Christian Reformed Church.

She lived in the New Holland area until 5½ years ago, when she moved to the Artesia Christian Home in California.

She was a lifelong member of New Holland Christian Reformed Church.

She is survived by four children: Cliff and wife Jerri, Phoenix; Rod and wife Judy, Tacoma, Wash.; Eunice Huxford and husband Gary, Houston, Texas; and Elroy and wife Twyla, Buena Park, Calif.; 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law: Leona Van Dusseldorp, Platte; and Mary Ann Vanden Bos and husband Bill, Linden, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband in March 1991, her parents and all her brothers and sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Dakota Christian School, 37614 S.D. Hwy. 44, Corsica, S.D. 57328.
