NEWTON - Staff Sergeant William (Bill) Isenhour, gunner on a Flying Fortress, has been reported missing in action in the European theater of war, according to a message received by his mother, Mrs. A. A. Isenhour of Claremont, from the U. S. War department. Sergeant Isenhour, wearer of the Air Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, enlisted in the Army Air Force December 10, 1941, and went to England eight months ago.
