Born Jan. 12, 1904, in Oscoda, Mich., he was the son of Aaron and Emma (Schellert) Shroyer. He was married July 1, 1933, to F. Evelyn McCune, who survives.
Shroyer was a moldmaker at Hart Glass Co. (now Kerr Glass Co.). He was a member of Mount Tabor United Methodist Church and was a charter member of the Elks Lodge 1776, Dunkirk.
Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Jean) Warren, Union City, and Mrs. Loren (JoAnn) Holbrook, Muncie; two sisters, Elizabeth Frank, Dunkirk, and Mrs. Robert (Ruth) VanKirk, Cochise, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
Services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Donald W. Jones Memorial Chapel, Dunkirk, with Rev. Roger Wrigley officiating. Burial will be in the Dunkirk IOOF Cemetary.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society of America, Indiana Chapter, 4720 Kingsway Drive, Indianapolis, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
