Funeral service for Mr. Robbie Javan "Jay" Randall, 78, of Nacogdoches, Texas will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Laird Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Ecker and the Rev. Jim Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Jay went to his heavenly home March 18, 2012, in Nacogdoches. He was born October 4, 1933, in Nacogdoches to the late Jack Randall and Lella Reider Randall. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a double major in agriculture and biology and a minor in chemistry. Jay is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jan Randall; daughter, Debra Lewers and husband, J.D.; daughter-in-law, Susan Randall; grandchildren, Deanna Wells, Jason Belgard and Scott Randall; three great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Rick Randall and a grandson, Kyle Randall. Pallbearers will be the men from Vineyard Church. In lieu of flowers, Jay's family requests that memorials be made to the Vineyard Church and Jubilee Christian Center in Nacogdoches. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at Laird Funeral Home.
