She was united in marriage with Benjamin Calvin Finney in October, 1893, and from that time has resided in their country home only a half mile from her birthplace until a few months ago. Her husband preceded her in death on August 4, 1932. An infant son, Ernest, and two brothers, John and Frank Shadley, and one sister Viola Allentharp Williams, also preceded her in death.
Surviving the deceased are two sons, Rex Shadley of Effingham, and J. Earl Finney of Marshall and a brother, Hanan Shadley, and a sister, Mrs. Mary S. Luckey, both of Casey, also one nephew and three nieces.
Mrs. Frank Slusser and Mrs. Walter Newlin sang "Lead Kindly Light," and Beautiful Isle,; accompanied by Mrs. Henry Hallstein.
Rev. E. N. Wisely, pastor of the Methodist church, Marshall, and the pastor of J. Earl Finney, assisted Rev. Charles E. Liston with the services.
