William Cullian Ivey, age 90, of Wabbaseka, died Friday, July 16, 2010.

He was born September 22, 1919 in Decatur County, Georgia, one of eleven children born to the late James Augusta Ivey and Willie Cloud Ivey. Mr. Ivey was a United States Navy veteran, having served during World War II in the South Pacific. He had lived in Wabbaseka for the past 39 years, where he worked as a master cabinet maker and was a member of Wabbaseka United Methodist Church.

Mr. Ivey was predeceased by his wife, Katherine Jeter Ivey; and by nine brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a sister, Sallie Marsh of Long Meadows, Massachusetts; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be Monday, 11:00 a.m. at Wabbaseka United Methodist Church with Rev.George Mitchell officiating. Interment will be Saturday, July 24, 2010, 11:00 p.m. in Pine Crest Cemetery in Pelham, Georgia. Local arrangements by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services, Pine Bluff.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Home Care, 3063 West 28th Avenue, Pine Bluff, AR 71603; or a charity of the donors choice.
