Greer. He was the founder of Van B.
Greer Tile Company of Rocky
Mount, an Elder Emeritus of Second
Presbyterian Church, a member of
the Corinthian Lodge 230 and a World
War II Veteran. He was preceded in
death by seven brothers and three
sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 61
years, Edna Henry Greer; one sis-
ter, Edna Hanchey of Louisiana; and
many brothers-in-law; sisters-in-
law; nieces; nephews; great-nieces
and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3
p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2000 at
Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home
with Rev. Bettie Kirkpatrick offici-
ating. Burial will follow at Pineview
Cemetery.
