HEBRON -- Willis F. Werner, 68, of Hebron, died Friday, April 23, 1993, at home.
A Hebron resident for 43 years, he was born January 2, 1925, in Union Mills, son of Ernest and Ella (Schuelke) Werner.
He was a farmer, a loan manager for Production Credit for 15 years, worked for Budd Co., was a realtor for United Realty and as a sales representative for Quality Oil in Valparaiso. On April 3, 1948, in Valparaiso, he married Joan Lawrence, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Russell, Randall and Rex, all of Valparaiso; a daughter, Rochelle "Shelly" Lucas of Valparaiso; a sister, Adeline Mohlke of Valparaiso; two brothers, Wayne of LaPorte and Wilfred of Union Mills; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wilbur; and a sister, Lucartha Crook.
Services 10 a.m. Monday at Steinke Funeral Home, Hebron; the Rev. Terry C. Rhine officiating; burial in Graceland Cemetery; visitation 3-9 p.m. Sunday; memorials to the Hebron Lions Club or VNA Hospice Home Care.
