Virginia Abbott, 91 of Belpre, Ohio died August 24, 2009 at the Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. She was bron January 22, 1918 in Parkersburg, WV and was the daughter of the late William H. and Abbie V. Eaton. She was a member of the Belpre Church of Christ. She retired from the Peoples Bank in Belpre following 25 years of service.

Survivors include her two daughters, Carolyn Bedilion of Marietta, Ohio, Wanda Childress and her husband John of Belpre. Her grandchldren, Kelly Loscar and husband John, Aaron Abbott, Adam Abbott, Suzanne Abbott, Bobby Bedilion and her great granddaughter, Maggie Mamo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William Earl Abbott, a son William "Buzz" Abbott and a sister Wanda Hardesty.

Services will be on Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Ron Laughery officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and up to service time on Saturday.
