October 16, 1989 - Russell Record George Jacob DumlerSalina - George Jacob Dumler, 82, Salina, died early Sunday, October 15, in the emergency room of the Salina Asbury Regional Medical Center.He was born in Russell County May 15, 1907, to George J. Dumler and the former Katherine Reinhardt.He lived in Russell until 1952, when he moved to Salina. For many years he was manager of the Prairie Ice Company in Russell.He married Mary Strecker. After her death he married Edith A. Duncan, who survives in a Salina Nursing Home.Other survivors are a daughter, Joy Lamb, Salina, and two grandchildren.He was a member of the University United Methodist Church, Salina, and the Salina AF & AM Lodge No. 60.His funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, from the University United Methodist Church in Salina, with Rev. Terry Turner, officiating.Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery at Salina.Memorial are to the University United Methodist Church of Salina or to the American Heart Association.Friends may call at the Ryan Mortuary in Salina until 9 p.m. today and until time of the service Tuesday.
