PARKED CAR ROLLS BACKWARD, KILLING WOMAN AT RAYWICK Special to The Courier-Journal -- LEBANON, KY., May 13 -- MRS. ALICE MILES THOMPSON, 49, was killed Wednesday at her home near Raywick when her car rolled over her. Marion County Coroner Kobert Borders said Mrs. Thompson died instantly of a crushed chest and broken neck. The accident occurred as Mrs. Thompson walked behind the automobile after she had parked it on an incline in the yard of her home. She is reported to have failed to set the emergency brake. Mrs. Thompson, wife of Bennett Thompson, had just returned from St. Francis Xavier School, where she was employed in the lunchroom. She was the mother of Otis Thompson and the sister of Mrs. Leonard Hicks, both of Louisville.
