Funeral Services Held for Mrs.O'Quinn May 25

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 25 at 4 p.m. at the First Christian Church for Mrs. Mattie O'Quinn, Rev. R. C. Brown officiating.
Mrs. O'Quinn passed away Friday May 25 at 8 p.m. at their home 2 miles north of Spur following an illness of one week.

Interment was made in Spur Cemetery with Burton Funeral Home in charge.

Born Mattie Mae Carroll, February 22, 1913 at Jasper, Alabama, where she lived during her childhood, later moving to Georgia where she lived just prior to coming to TX about four years ago to make her home with her mother, Mrs. Eufala Randall.

She was married to Vernon O'Quinn April 3, 1939. She had been a member of the First Christian Church since 1926.

Surviving are her husband, Vernon O'Quinn, her mother, Mrs. Randall, one brother, Edward Carroll and a foster sister, Anna Lee Gollihar all of Spur.
