Vic Acheson
Memorial services for Vic Acheson, 88, of Lindale, are scheduled for 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery with Pastor Bryan Tema officiating.
Mr. Acheson passed away on March 2, 2012, in Lindale.
Victor Raymon Acheson was born Oct. 22, 1923, in Stonington, Colo., to the late Walter Raymon and Pearl Chesnut Acheson. He served as a signalman first class in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He studied architecture at University of Oklahoma, and he later worked in training and sales for Jostens.
He was preceded in death by a son, Randall Acheson.
Survivors include his wife of more than 69 years, Mary John Acheson, of Lindale; children, Dr. Keith Acheson and wife Janice, of Bertram, Vicki Acheson, of Bayfield, Colo., and Curtis Acheson and wife Torri, of Lindale; six grandchildren, Kent, Kirk, Caitlin, Alyssa, Elizabeth and Andrew; and six great-grandchildren.
