Mr. Terry Conley, 63, of Lenox, passed away Saturday December 31, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Conley was born June 17, 1948 to Thomas Daniel Conley (late) and Christine Vann Geiger. Although born in Griffin, Georgia, he lived most of his life in Cook County. He was a member of Lenox Baptist Church and co-owner of Adel Auto Parts.
Mr. Conley is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Kenneth and B.J. Conley of Adel, and Jason Conley of Adel; a step-son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Marie Connell of Lenox; two step-daughters and sons-in-law, Belinda and Bob Myers of Sparks, Marsha and Clarence Swain of Omega; mother, Christine Vann Geiger of Adel; a sister, Rhonda Geiger of Adel; three grandchildren, Corey and Brandon Conley of Clarksville, KY and Bay Conley of Adel; five step-grandchildren, Jessica Wilkerson of Adel, Kayla Myers and Brittany Myers of Sparks, Corey Swain of Omega, and Spencer Connell of Lenox; two great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren; a special niece, Lauren Patterson of Tifton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ronald and Gloria Graddy of Sumner, GA; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Ava Nell Shannon of Adel, Mary and Kenny Wadsworth of Quitman. Mr. Conley was preceded in death by his wife, Verma Lee Graddy Conley; his step-father James F. "J.F." Geiger; and his brother, Rodney Geiger.
Funeral services will be held Monday January 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Lenox Baptist Church with Rev. Lamar Harris and Rev. Dillard Ensley officiating. Interment will follow at Lenox City Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Boone Funeral Home 1804 South Hutchinson Avenue (US Hwy. 41 South) in Adel.
