Daughter of George N Louis.

She married Alonzo M Hulsen on 24 Oct 1888 in Berrien Springs, Berrien, Michigan. Alonzo was the son of John Hulsen and Mary Kellogg.

Obituary From Watervliet Record, June 13, 1890, Vol 9, No 16

Died June 12, at her home in this village Mrs. A. M. Hulsen aged 22 years.

Oct. 21, 1888 she was married to A. M. Hulsen of this village, now one of the proprieters of this paper. Mr. and Mrs. Hulsen's married life had been short but very happy and the loss of companion and wife comes with crushing force to the Husband.

June 6, she gave birth to a little babe, whose spirit had taken its flight to realms above previous to birth and from this time she remained very sick, though not until Wedneday did her friends lose courage and hope. About noon Wednesday she began to fail, soon after became unconsious and remained in a comatose state until one o'clock A. M. Thursday when her spirit passed "across the river" to join her babe that had preceded her less than a week.

Mrs. Hulsen was a quiet unobtrusive lady of sterling worth who delighted in trying to make home happy.

She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs George Lewis of Bainbridge, and leaves a large circle of friends and acquaintances both in the vicinity of her parents home and at this place to mourn her early demise. The funeral services will be held at the Congregational church at 11 o'clock. A. M. today and will be conducted by Rev. W. B. Dada, and her remains interred in the Watervliet cemetery.
