Nancy was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Beautiful, charming with a great sense of humor. It was always a pleasure being around her. Nancy attended Delevan Drive Elementary School and later Eagle Rock High School with me. There were many times we would walk home together because we lived in the same neighborhood. After graduation, Fred Moscato and myself ran into Nancy at a party just a few doors up the street from her house. We chatted for quite some time and then we left to go to another party leaving Nancy behind with other friends. I had no idea that this would have been the last time I saw her. It wasn't until 2011 that a mutual friend Frank Krivasich contacted me on FaceBook to inform me that he had been in contact with Nancy's Brother Bob in an attempt to find out how Nancy was doing and it was then that Frank was told that she had died in a car accident in Sonoma, CA. I had often wondered how she was doing and hoped to someday see her again. The news of her passing was and still is heart breaking.
Nancy is survived by her father Jack Lischke, mother Helen and Jack's current wife Maurie of Temple City, CA and Brother Bob Lischke of Big Bear, CA.
