Frances Marie (Bartles) Conner, 84, widow of Charles Raymond Conner, of Martinsburg, died Monday, February 20, 2012 at Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home, Boonsboro, MD.
Born December 15, 1927 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Rudolph Bartles and Lucy Sophia (Myers) Bartles Childs.
She was a member of The Moler Avenue Church of the Brethren.
Mrs. Conner was a graduate of Martinsburg High School, class of 1946.
She is survived by one son, Charles Thomas Conner and wife, Janet, of Martinsburg; one daughter, Brenda Jo Breeden and fiancé, Kevin Weadon; four grandsons, Ryan Thomas Conner, Dustin Lee Breeden and Marc Allen Breeden and Christopher Weadon; one granddaughter, Amanda Weadon; four great-grandsons, Dylan Thomas Conner, Gavin and Jacob Breeden and Kolbie Weadon; one great-granddaughter, Alexandra Crawford; and one nephew, David Wayne "Pete" Powell, of Spring Mills.
She was the last of her immediate family, preceded in death by a sister, Margaret V. Gregory and two brothers, Earl Rudolph and Robert Allen Bartles.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Edmonds officiating. Interment will be held at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 22nd, at the funeral home.
