The war department yesterday notified Mrs. Marvin Albrecht of Winthrop Harbor, Lake county, that her husband, Pvt. Hans. T. Albrecht, 23, has died of wounds suffered in the Southwest Pacific. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Albrecht, Kenosha Rd., Benton Township, and had been assistant manager of a grocery store in Woodstock before entering service in May, 1943.

His name also appears on his parent's headstone in Lakeside Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.
