Theodore F. Fodero, 83, of Brick Township, N.J., formerly of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 8:15 AM from Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave, Cedar Grove, NJ. Funeral Mass is at 9:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church in Bloomfield. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visiting hours are Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Born and raised in Bloomfield, Mr. Fodero was a lifelong resident there before moving to Brick, NJ, about 30 years ago. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II. He was the president of Fodero Dining Car Co. in Bloomfield, a longtime member of Bloomfield UNICO and also a longtime parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bloomfield.

The beloved husband for over 50 years to the late Nori (nee Harman) Fodero (2010), he was the devoted father to Catherine Orsini and her husband, Richard; Joseph Fodero and his wife, Diane; Kenneth Fodero and his wife, Shirley, and also Theodore Fodero Jr. and his wife, Donna; cherished grandfather to Korinne, Kenneth, JoAnna, Tiffany, Nicholas, Allyse, Christina, Ashley, Francesca and a great-granddaughter, Destiny; dear brother to Pat Fodero and his wife, Helen, and Dr. Joseph Fodero and his wife, Nellie, and also the late Clara Carras. Mr. Fodero is also survived my many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
