Obituary: Hubert Dean Hughett, 36, passed away Friday, May 24, 1963 at the University Hospital in Knoxville after a lingering illness. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a member of Scott County Lodge No. 670 F & A.M. Survivors: wife, Gemima Hughett; 4 daughters, Judy Ann, Carolyn, Janett, and Lois of Star Rt., Robbins; stepfather, Howard Harness of Rt. 1, Huntsville; 2 sisters, Mildred Cronberg, Milford, Ohio, Ruby Phillips, Ft. Jackson, S.C.; 1 half-sister, Pauline Todd, Camp Schaffey, Arkansas; 1 brother, Ola Hughett, Oneida. Funeral services were conducted 1 p.m. Monday, May 27, 1963 from the Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Finley Hatfield and Jerry Zachery officiating. Interment followed in the Fairview Cemetery.
