ZEIGLER - Lula G. Zeigler died Wednesday in a local nursing home. She was a native of Brooks County and was the widow of Herbert E. Zeigler. She had been a member of Dawson Street Baptist Church in Thomasville and she and her husband had been members of Okapilco Baptist Church many years. She is survived by four sons, E.L. Zeigler of Cecil, Ga., Jake Zeigler of Thomasville, L.M. Zeigler and J.H. Zeigler of Ocoee, Fl.; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtice Pritchard and Mrs. Sybil Cummings, both of Valdosta; 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Julie Touchton of Moultrie; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. in Okapilco Baptist Church. The Reverend Herbert Henderson is to officiate. Burial will be in Okapilco Church Cemetery. The family will receive their friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday evening at Carson McLane Funeral Home.
