Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Aldridge, age 92, of Fayette, were held Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at 11 a.m., from New Liberty Freewill Baptist Church. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery. Bro. Darren Pollard officiated.
Mrs. Aldridge was born Oct. 7, 1919. She died Feb. 14 at Fayette Medical Center. She was a life time resident of the Fowlers Crossroads community and the oldest member of New Liberty Freewill Baptist Church. Quilting and growing flowers were her passion. She loved cooking for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J. K. and Donzie Lowery; husband, Coy Ralph Aldridge; brothers, Thomas, Travis, and Tilman Lowery; sister, Cassie Perkins; sons, James and Jacob Aldridge; daughter-in-law, Era Aldridge and grandson, Brian Aldridge.

Active pallbearers were grandsons, Scotty, Randy, Landon, Judson, Jordan and Jarred Aldridge.
