Blakeney, born in Chesterfield County, was a son of Sandra Adams and Benjamin Frankie Miller. He was a member of Pageland Second Presbyterian. He was a graduate of Central High. After graduation he served in the United Sates Army and was honorably retired. He later worked for the Chesterfield County School District. He was known for having the cleanest truck in town. He also loved old school music and was an avid football fan.
He was preceded in death by grandmother Myrtle Miller and grandfathers Jerry Miller and Ernshaw Robinson.
Married to Shirley.
