Roger was born on September 18, 1965 in Melbourne, FL. He is a son of Roger and Zella Mae Simmons. He was predeceased by a sister, Teresa Smith.
He was manager of Beach Hardware, Ocean Isle Beach.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Johanna B. Simmons; two sons, Tyler Benton, of Ash, and Matthew Simmons, of Ocean Isle Beach; sister, Sabrina Blankenship, and husband, David, of Ocean Isle Beach.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2012 in Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in the New Britton Baptist Church Cemetery.
