LEE LOFTIS RITES AT C-CITY TODAY
COLORADO CITY ~~ Funeral was to be held at 3 p.m. Monday here at Kiker and Son Funeral Home Chapel for Lee R. Loftis, 54.
Mr. Loftis, a resident of Mitchell County for the last four years, died at 10 p.m. Saturday in Root Memorial Hospital of a heart attack. He had been suffering from a heart ailment for several months.
Officiating was the Rev. Rayon Hester, pastor of the Austin Street Baptist Church. Burial was to be in the Colorado City Cemetery. Nephews were to serve as pallbearers.
He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Eva Lee Devitt of Houston; two brothers, J. R. Loftis of Mineral Wells and Jesse G Loftis of San Antonio; and one sister, Mrs. G. L. Bassinger of Colorado City.
