The mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, where she was a member, by Father Al Gondek. Entombment will follow at the mausoleum at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Adams was born November 1, 1918, in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, to Effim Stogney and Mary Gritzuk Stogney. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert T. Adams.
Surviving are her twin sister, Helen Ryan of Milwaukee, Wi.; sons, James P. Adams of Lexington, and John Adams and wife, Helene, of Woodstock, Ga.; daughter, Karen A. Gould and husband, Jerry, of Lexington; five grandchildren, Olin Gould, Thomas Gould, Justin Gould, Erika Adams, and Nick Adams; three great-grandchildren, Nathan Gould, Jack Gould and Elliott Gould.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home.
